Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn, unused, with tags, and in the original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at hello@alleco.ca with your order number and reason for return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return authorization and a return shipping label (where applicable), along with instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Who Pays for Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to defect, damage, or an error on our part, we cover return shipping.

  • For all other returns (for example, change of mind), customers are responsible for return shipping.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us right away if an item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item.
We’ll evaluate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods (such as food or plants), custom products (special orders or personalized items), personal care goods (beauty or hygiene products), and hazardous materials/flammable liquids/gases.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have; once the return is accepted, place a new order for the replacement.


♻️ Jar Deposit & Exchange Policy (Ottawa Area Only)

Many of our refill products are packaged in reusable ALL ECO jars. Each jar carries a refundable deposit, which varies by size and style.

  • Deposit Refund:
    If you return your jars but are not placing a new order, we’ll issue a full refund of the deposit to your original payment method once the jars are received and inspected.

  • Deposit Waiver on Reorder:
    If you’re placing a new order, simply leave your empty jars in the same spot where your delivery will be dropped off. When we pick them up, the deposit for your new jars will be waived—no need to pay twice.

  • Return Method:
    Jars should be left clean and undamaged in the designated delivery area by Wednesday morning (our delivery day). We’ll collect them when we deliver your next order.

  • Non-Returnable Jars:
    Jars that are missing, damaged, or not cleaned may not qualify for a refund or deposit waiver.

This system helps us keep packaging in circulation, reduce waste, and reward customers who participate in our sustainable refill loop.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. Items must be in the same condition you received them, unused, with tags, and in original packaging. Please include your receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, we’ll process the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.
