What is a Konjac sponge?
First, the Konjac sponge is a plant, more precisely a vegetable that is cultivated all over Asia and has a naturally spongy appearance. Konjac is 97% water, rich in mineral benefits.
Not only is it entirely natural and vegetarian, but it is 100% biodegradable. Once its shelf life is reached (about 3 months for daily use), you can simply compost it with your leftover vegetables, fruits and plants.
What is it used for?
The main use of the Konjac sponge is to offer the skin a gentle cleaning, being an ecological solution to the cleaning wipes.
We offer two types of Konjac sponges, adapted to different skin types.
The natural Konjac sponge
It is suitable for normal skin. The natural Konjac sponge is full of properties:
- Respects the PH of the skin
- Provides hydration to the skin
- Eliminates excess sebum
- Stimulates cell renewal
- Exfoliates while respecting the most sensitive skin.
Konjac sponge with bamboo charcoal
It is more suitable for combination, oily and acne-prone skin. In addition to the properties listed above, the Konjac sponge with bamboo charcoal can be used to:
- Deeply cleanse the pores
- Eliminate blackheads and dirt
- Absorb excess sebum and toxins
- To improve the clarity of the skin without drying it out.
- Detoxify stubborn acne-causing bacteria
- Act effectively against oily skin
How to use it?
Its use is very simple. Initially, the Konjac sponge is dry and hard. Just pass it under water a few seconds and it will soften. Then use it to gently massage the face in a circular motion. No soap or cleanser is required, it works effectively on its own. Once cleansing is complete, rinse and gently squeeze out excess water without wringing it. Finally, simply hang it up to let it dry until the next use.
In short, discover a product that will leave your skin feeling clean, soft and moisturized. Natural, vegan and biodegradable, it's one more step towards a more ecological routine, while being economical and easy to use.
